Anand Niketan Satellite Campus Celebrates School Foundation Day with Tradition and Innovation

 

The school celebrated its Foundation Day on 1st July ‘25 with deep reverence and joyous enthusiasm. The day began with a solemn Gayatri Havan, where students of Grades 1 and 2 participated in the Vidyarambh Sanskar, marking the auspicious beginning of their educational journey. The havan ceremony included mantra chanting and offerings, creating a serene and spiritual atmosphere. The meaning of havan and the significance was explained to the students . 

 

The day was also observed as a Bagless Day, as per the NEP regulations . encouraging children to learn beyond books. A variety of unique and innovative games, puzzles, and quizzes were organised, sparking creativity and excitement among students. These activities were designed to enhance critical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving skills in a playful environment.

 

While some Gr 8 students created a human bar graph to visualize population distribution and understand the concept of density , the diverse talents of Gr 6 and 7 surfaced through composition of poems, songs and rap on different topics of the various subjects. Students also made clue cards for each element of the periodic table . The primary school children indulged in palm printing and science experiments . 

 

Adding to the celebratory spirit, children composed heartfelt songs and poems dedicated to the school, and wrote touching letters of appreciation to the founder and trustees, expressing their gratitude for the institution that nurtures their growth.
