International Yoga Day Celebration
International Yoga Day Celebrated with Enthusiasm at Anand Niketan Satellite Campus !
On the occasion of International Yoga Day, students of Grades 5 to 12 at Anand Niketan Satellite Campus gathered to honour the ancient practice of yoga through a series of guided sessions. Under the expert guidance of our Yoga Instructor and Gymnastics Teacher, Ms Meghna Zala, students actively participated in age-appropriate yoga sequences that focused on posture, breathing techniques, and inner mindfulness.
The celebration began with a collective prayer and a short introduction on the significance of yoga in fostering physical, mental, and emotional well-being. The theme of ‘Yoga for One earth one health ‘for this year was introduced by Meghna ma’am and each grade attended a dedicated session where students engaged in asanas, stretching exercises, and simple meditation practices.
Ms Meghna Zala shared valuable insights into how yoga can help students develop balance, flexibility, concentration, and resilience in their daily lives. The sessions were energising, reflective, and deeply grounding—instilling in students the importance of integrating yoga into their routines.
The event concluded with a moment of silence and gratitude , reflecting the spirit of harmony that yoga inspires. remains committed to nurturing holistic development and well-being through such meaningful engagements.
