Mr. Kamal Mangal, trustee of the Anand Niketan group of schools can rightly be called “a man with a vision”. His vision has made him the man he is today – a pioneer in the education world. His journey, from a regular business man, to the scion of a chain of schools, has many interesting stories to tell.
His aim and vision, as he always reiterates, was and is to “return childhood to children” and today all Anand Niketan schools share the same vision. This endeavor of his was initiated in 1996, with just 20 children, to create a socially acceptable environment where all students, teachers and parents develop their potential to the maximum. The mission statement of each school under his able leadership is –“To nurture students like seeds, with joy, instilling proficiency into them, through activity and honing of their skills, thus helping them grow into a complete tree.” He and his schools strongly advocate the creation of an environment where joy of work and co-operation are the key motivating factors and where the role of adults, as teachers or as parents is to nurture the inherent values and qualities present in each child, rather than suppress them in the name of education or development. Possessing an extremely progressive and fearless attitude, he is always ready to join hands with people sharing the same beliefs and is always enthusiastic to venture towards new horizons for the benefit of children–his primary stakeholders

The Persona
An alumnus of the prestigious Seth CN Vidyalaya, Ahmedabad, a young and dynamic Civil Engineer from LD College of Engineering, Shri Vivekbhai Patel is a philanthropist with a vision encompassing a deep commitment to fostering the growth, development, and success of every student.
Apart from being a Trustee of the Advisory committees of various charitable trusts, he also holds a significant position in the Trusts of various schools and colleges. Mr. Vivek Patel is the managing trustee of Anand Niketan Satellite, Anand Niketan Sughad, Anand Niketan Sarkhej, and JOEYS.
He is also the Trustee of Laxman Gyanpith Foundation (Sanskar Dham) and Sadhana Sahitya. He has been nominated as a member of the University Planning and Development Committee of the Indian Institute of Teacher Education, Gandhinagar. He is a member of the governing body of Gujarat Technological University and also a member of the Executive Council of Children’s Research University.
He also serves as the President of Gujarat State Athletic Association, Vice President of Gujarat State Olympic Association, and the President of Kreeda Bharti -Gujarat State, a sports organization formed by Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
He is a visionary who constantly endeavours to fulfil his father, Late Shri Prahladbhai Patel's dream to make education easy, natural, and accessible for all by establishing schools that nurture children and their childhood. He believes that education can never be possible simply within four walls. The learning ability of children develops only when they are taught amidst nature.
He takes special interest in ensuring that the schools he is associated with are equipped with the latest infrastructure. An avid sportsman himself, he promotes sports in a big way in the school. His passion for drama and theatre encourages an environment that discovers and develops the hidden talents lying dormant in all children. He participates actively & enthusiastically in all school decisions & events.
The magnificent & imposing buildings of Anand Niketan Satellite, Sarkhej, Sughad, and JOEYS campuses are a product of his innovative & contemporary approach towards education.

As I look back on my two-decade journey with this remarkable institution, I am filled with gratitude and pride. Having joined the school as one of its first employees, I have had the privilege of witnessing it grow from its earliest days — from a handful of classrooms and big dreams to a thriving community of learners, educators, and families who share a common vision.
Over these twenty years, I too have grown and transformed alongside the school. Each new batch of students, every new idea, and each challenge has shaped me as an educator and a human being.
