Collaboration
“No school can work well for children if parents and teachers do not act in partnership on behalf of the children's best interests.”
- Dorothy H Cohen
Our core principles are: "Children are the priority," "Change is the reality," and "Collaboration is the strategy." Collaboration is crucial for strengthening the parent-teacher relationship, with a central theme of "let's talk now."
These collaborations primarily focus on learning, though the child's behavioural and social development, standardised test results, and individualised study plans may also be discussed. The goal is a productive, professional conversation about the child's progress, including both strengths and areas for development.
Parents are encouraged to use these opportunities to share feedback on their child's progress and needs, which can contribute to more tangible development. These meetings are essential for helping children succeed in school and for reinforcing that school-related matters are shared at home.
Collaboration dates and times are communicated well in advance to help parents plan their schedules. Collaborations are held at least three times per academic year.

Parents as Partners
At Anand Niketan Satellite Campus, every child’s education flourishes through a strong partnership between the school and the home. Parents are not merely spectators in this journey; they are valued partners who play an integral role in shaping every child’s growth and development.
Throughout the year, parents actively participate in school life, bringing warmth, enthusiasm, and a sense of community to every experience. Whether celebrating occasions such as Father’s Day and Mother’s Day, cheering alongside their children as well as participating in parents’ events during Sports Day, engaging in workshops and school initiatives, or coming to school as experts during expert intervention sessions, their involvement enriches every event and strengthens the bond between home and school.
By working together, parents and educators create an environment where children develop confidence, resilience, empathy, and values that guide them throughout life.
At Anand Niketan Satellite Campus, every parent is a valued stakeholder in our shared mission. Together, we are committed to nurturing confident, compassionate, and responsible young learners who are prepared to make a positive difference in the world.
