The House System is designed to embody the values and ethos of the school and aims to be an integral part of our school community. In time it is our ambition that the House Captains and the School Council will work together creating a stronger pupil voice to motivate students and further the community spirit of the school.
At our school, the House System forms the heart of community spirit, teamwork, and healthy competition. Every student and teacher belongs to one of four houses — Agni (Fire), Jal (Water), Prithvi (Earth), and Vaayu (Air) — each representing an elemental force of nature and a unique set of values that guide our learners.
Agni – The Flames of Passion
Agni symbolises energy, courage, and inspiration. Members of Agni House are known for their enthusiasm and drive to achieve excellence. Just as fire transforms everything it touches, Agni inspires students to transform challenges into opportunities and to lead with passion.
Vaayu – The Force of Determination
Vaayu represents freedom, imagination, and communication. The students of Vaayu House think beyond boundaries, always curious and full of ideas. Like the wind that connects the world, they bring fresh perspectives and promote unity through creativity and expression.
Prithvi - The Firmness of Purpose
Prithvi embodies strength, resilience, and responsibility. Rooted in values and grounded in perseverance, Prithvi House represents the dependable foundation upon which others can grow. Its members uphold honesty, patience, and the spirit of service.
Jal – The Flow of Spirit
Jal stands for adaptability, calmness, and empathy. Like water that nurtures all life, students of Jal House value cooperation, understanding, and balance. They flow steadily towards their goals, embracing change with grace and compassion.
Purpose of the House System
The House System nurtures leadership, teamwork, and a sense of belonging. Through inter-house competitions in academics, sports, arts, and community service, students learn to collaborate, celebrate one another’s strengths, and grow together as one school community.
Each house earns points throughout the year for participation, achievement, and conduct, with the House Cup awarded to the team that best upholds the school’s values of excellence, integrity, and sportsmanship.
